Handling the Yulgilbar Yearlings

Robert Mackay visited Elgee Park and handled the Yulgilbar yearlings last week.  Coming from a very drought stricken Goondiwindi to the green and lush Elgee Park on the Morning Peninsula, Robert was surprised to see how well grown the yearlings were, so decided, since he was going to break some of them in, he had better handle them before they got any bigger. Robert likes to hobble, sideline, and lead the yearling from a horse before he breaks them in.  There are four geldings ready to start in early next year that are currently for sale. There is a One Time Royalty from Yulgilbar Crystalandsweet a Catty Hawk from Roc N Roy, a Cat N A Hat from Yulgilbar Our Miss Roy and Molly McDonald’s first foal by Spoonfulla Badge that are all big, strong and well handled.
